That’s why we have people like Olivia Green – our Sustainability Manager – leading the way to reach all of our environmental goals. Here, we catch up with Olivia to hear about her first year with Screwfix.
New Life at Screwfix
After 6 years of experience in sustainability roles across different sectors, Olivia moved to Screwfix about a year ago. Even though this is her first role in retail, Olivia saw the influence Screwfix has, and Kingfisher’s leadership in the Responsible Business agenda, as a huge opportunity to make a difference in her career.
Everyday Green
Whether it’s at her desk working on our sustainability initiatives, or on location at distribution centres, external events or sustainability talks, Olivia knows that what she does hugely impacts the ambitious strategy we have set. As part of a friendly, open and engaged team, she has the power to influence a household name and make a difference for the better.
Growing Together
In just a year at Screwfix, Olivia has gained exposure to many senior colleagues business-wide, and is a member of edie’s Sustainability Leaders Club. Olivia has pushed for a bold approach to sustainability and feels proud that she was able to develop our first environmental strategy off the back of this. As she continues her journey with us, Olivia aims to keep raising the profile of sustainability while becoming a leading figure herself.
