Retail Media Propositions & Planning Manager

Key responsibilities
What you’ll be doing
- Build and evolve our Retail Media roadmap – defining new propositions across our owned channels (web/app, stores, data, offsite).
- Develop and refine media products that deliver value both to Screwfix and our vendor partners.
- Collaborate closely with our Partnerships (sales) teams to identify trends, shape our product strategy, and ensure we’re offering what the market needs.
- Own and maintain all media collateral, ensuring our teams have everything they need to sell with confidence.
- Work with tech partners like Citrus Ads and Brandswap to expand our media capability.
- Build strong internal relationships across Marketing, PR, and Digital teams to align on planning, communication, and execution.
- Produce case studies and external comms that tell our success stories and strengthen our presence in the market.
- Keep a close eye on industry benchmarks to ensure our pricing and proposition stay competitive.
Required skills & experience
What we’re looking for
- Network establishment; this role requires strong internal and external stakeholder engagement to align on media propositions and ensure SLA’s are defined and maintained
- Previous experience in a similar or adjacent role in a Retail Media network is highly desirable
- A keen understanding in how a media proposition’s value is in its’ ability to work for both us as a retailer and the value a vendor perceives it to have – all propositions must be built with our media customer in mind
- Understanding of the ad technology space within Retail Media
- Highly organised, able to juggle the various demands of stakeholders both internal and external
- Confident working with multiple stakeholders and tech partners to bring ideas to life.
- Commercially minded – you understand how to create value for both retailer and vendor.

Interview
Prior to your interview, we recommend a thorough read of our careers page and even a trip to your local Trade Counter, to learn as much about us as possible. Your interview will consist of competency-based questions, and a chat about your experience, knowledge of Screwfix and the role you’ve applied for. Interviews may be held on the phone or over video chat, followed by a visit to store to meet the team.
