Key responsibilities

  • Brief and influence channel owners, to ensure the consistent execution on a campaign propositions
  • Interpret the campaign propositions into briefs that are going to get the creative juices flowing – including seasonal, brand, service and category campaigns
  • Collaborate with the lead creative and media agency to develop creative and media plans
  • Implement and execute media plans, project managing these to budget and delivery requirements
  • Influence internal stakeholders to ensure consistent execution of campaigns
  • Work closely with all channels across the business to develop integrated plans for customer campaigns
  • Develop a strong network with commercial and digital to implement best in class campaigns
  • Take the ROI plan and execute to the local market requirements
  • Effectively implement campaigns in line with budget, elevating any risks or concerns
  • Protect and drive our brand, influencing agency to ensure campaigns protect Screwfix’s visual identity
  • Support the month end process, ensuring invoices are raised and processed in a timely, accurate manner

Required skills & experience

  • An ability to inspire others to develop creative ideas
  • Strong judgement – able to articulate why something does / doesn’t meet a brief
  • Commercial acumen, able to understand and challenge to get the best customer offer
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple departments
  • Ability to coordinate and administer multiple pieces of work
  • Able to identify what needs to be done and doesn’t wait for instruction to make the right thing happen
  • Able to engage effectively with peers and senior members of the team
  • Able to turn insight and strategy into action and plans
  • Not essential, but a deep understanding of the retail landscape would be advantageous or experience of media buying / creative development
