Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, you will work with cross-functional teams to review processes and recommend and implement improvements using Microsoft Power Platform. You will engage leadership, teams, and core SMEs to review, define, and improve their business processes and workflows to support business growth and change.

You will also take the lead in developing Power Platform skills within our business.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge and skills in the use of the Microsoft Power Platform, being the go to person for advice/guidance and assistance
  • Collaborate with the Business Improvement Manager to identify and prioritise incoming demand for process improvements using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Demo and be a ambassador for the Microsoft Power Platform
  • Analyse and evaluate existing business processes to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Provides and illustrates clearly recommendations to business owner/and leads based on evaluations
  • Design, develop, test, and implement solutions using Microsoft Power Platform to automate and optimise business processes which meet agreed needs.
  • Lead the development of Power Platform skills within the business, providing training and support to team members.
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest developments in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies and share knowledge with the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and reachable measures of success for process improvement initiatives.
  • Project manage process improvement initiatives from identification of opportunity to closure, embedding the change in teams for BAU ownership, completing any post implementation reviews to take learnings ensuring any remedial activities are supported and using this insight to support new projects/work activities.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills in using Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team, encouraging team members to share their knowledge and learn from each other.

Required skills & experience

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Proficiency in M365 suite, including SharePoint.
  • Passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest developments in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to engage colleagues to understand and support initiatives.
  • Advanced skill in facilitation, ability to lead teams without positional power.
  • Change management skills to support teams through change and embed effectively.
  • Ability to identify what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting for instruction.
