Let’s hammer out the detail
Right from the start, we’ll expect you to lead from the front. You’ll get to know your team. You’ll get to know your customers. And when you combine that knowledge, you’ll be in an excellent position to drive sales. Budgets, P&L statements, managing stock and improving profits are all part and parcel of the role. As is people management, as you’ll motivate your team to deliver customer experiences that deliver results. We know you’re going to do more than make a go of it here. You’re going to smash it. And with new stores opening all the time, the opportunities for progression are limitless.
Your skills toolbox
Okay, you might not know all there is to know about trade and DIY… yet. With our training you will. What you do know about is retail. It’s your passion. We need experienced retail managers with enthusiasm, drive and determination. Those who thrive on building a business by putting customers first. And who love to bring out the best in their team. Other than that, you’ll need to have a similar approach to your work as the team you’ll be heading up. At Screwfix, we’re friendly, reliable, honest, hard-working and flexible.
