Overview

Working within the Customer Marketing Team and reporting to the Campaign Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for building effective campaigns using our new state of the art campaign planning software, Redpoint Interaction. You will be part of the wider marketing team and the role will also involve helping to develop and implement improvements to ongoing campaigns, improving the overall effectiveness of our customer marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Implementing multi-channel marketing campaign briefs, ensuring accurate and effective customer selections are effectively implemented.
  • Working independently, you will ensure that your campaigns and promotions are built to the correct standards measured against brief and be pro-active in recommending improvements where appropriate.
  • Assist the Customer Data team in business level marketing campaign reporting.
  • Analyse requirements to ensure adherence to brief, making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Responsible for the set-up, testing and reporting of customer led promotions/ discounts on behalf of the wider marketing team. Liaising with IT to ensure support and system impacts are actioned.
  • Responsible for the provision of customer data for outbound calling campaigns and email campaigns.
  • Monitor the campaign schedule, highlighting forthcoming deadlines and advising relevant stakeholders.
  • Support in the delivery of customer projects, such as suppressions, new segmentation, returned mail, mailing analysis.
  • Collation of returned mail details via a third-party service provider and the subsequent processing to meet suppression requirements.
  • Ensure we maintain compliance with GDPR/PECR regulations.
  • Work with the Campaign Manager to ensure we meet both external and internal timelines.

  • Good numerical skills.
  • Good MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex information and present in a user-friendly format.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Working during COVID-19

As an essential retailer, we are still trading even through lockdowns. But it’s important our colleagues can stay safe at work.

Social Distancing

We have social distancing measures in place across all of our stores and Contact Centre, with colleagues in Head Office encouraged to work from home. We have also laid out one-way systems and 2m distance signage across sites.

Colleague Protection

To ensure protection, PPE is available for our colleagues and face coverings must be worn by customers. We also have sanitising stations available across all of our sites and regularly test our sites to ensure they remain sterile.

Perspex screens

We have also installed Perspex screens in store so our colleagues are protected, and our customers can continue to shop safely and normally.
